Role Details

Gold Fields Australia is currently seeking two positions for a Specialist: Business Applications Training to join the Regional Maintenance Team in the Perth Office. These roles would be offered on a 12-month fixed-term, working on 8 days on 6 days off roster travelling between our 4 operations in Western Australia and with time spent in our Perth office.

Reporting to the Superintendent: Business Improvement (Maintenance), you will be responsible for maintaining the online Learning Library (SAP Enable Now) application, Course Content Development, and delivering Maintenance Systems and Work Management Business Process training across the GFAU Maintenance User Group.

Duties of the role:
  • Assist with the training and onboarding of new employees and the upskilling of existing employees with our Maintenance Systems and Work Management processes;
  • Develop departmental-specific coaching and training schedules based upon the Work Management report findings to assist the departments in meeting their KPIs;
  • Coordinate and deliver on the job coaching to General Users and the Execution Teams;
  • Coordinate and deliver SAP Plant Maintenance and AMT, training courses across GFA operations via remote or classroom training;
  • Schedule regular training sessions on the internal training calendar and manage bookings;
  • Develop AMT online e-leaning content, including simulations, interactive activities, assessments, and role-based training courses;
  • Develop support materials, including user guides, quick reference guides, job help cards, PowerPoint presentations, exercise guides, session plans, trainer notes, and course outlines;
  • Maintain the online Learning Library;
  • Maintain the AMT & SAP training environments with data refreshes, access, and training scenarios.


About You:

You will have:
  • Asset Management Tool (AMT) experience
  • SAP Plant Maintenance experience
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Microsoft Office skills

Desirable:
  • Previous experience in Systems or Process training/coaching
  • Exposure to the Australian mining environment
  • Project management skills
