Downer Group has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HSE Advisor to support our team at Olympic Dam Shutdown project in South Australia. Reporting to the HSE Manager you will be responsible for conducting field based HSE Advisor activities on this project in South Australia.

POSITION SUMMARY
Downer Group has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HSE Advisor to support our team at Olympic Dam Shutdown project in South Australia. Reporting to the HSE Manager you will be responsible for conducting field based HSE Advisor activities on this project in South Australia.
- This role is FIFO from any capital city in Australia undertaking a 3:1 roster
- Flights and accommodation covered
- Immediate start till Jan/Feb 2022
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you must provide evidence of the following:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a HSE Advisor role
- Cert IV in HSE or OHS
- Strong communication skills with the ability to develop a rapport and influence
- Experience with Incident Investigations using ICAM and 5 Why
- An understanding and a working knowledge of HSE practices, standard and codes
- Providing HSE guidance and advice to site staff
- Competent with Microsoft Office and other software packages
- Excellent problem-solving skills and high level of attention to detail
- An industry White Card
- Previous experience at Olympic Dam will be highly regarded
