Position summary
Otraco International is the world's leading provider of Earthmover/Off-road tyre management services to the mining industry. We are currently seeking a Document Controller to join from our Kewdale office, initially on a 6-month fixed term basis.

THE ROLE

As Document Controller you will be responsible for maintaining company documentation. to the highest possible standard. The role will include, but is not limited to, the following:
  • To control the numbering, filing, sorting and retrieval of electronically stored or hard copy documentation produced in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
  • Maintain electronic files and reports within the information management system, providing advice, support and assistance to internal stakeholders in the storage and management of company documentation
  • Checking quality of documents and monitoring processes and compliance to company verification systems
  • Setting up and managing company filing systems
  • Maintaining updates of records of all approved documents and their distribution
  • Recording, checking and tracking all incoming and outgoing documents
  • Conducting health checks to monitor the integrity of company document management systems.
  • Any other administrative duties as required by the leadership team
  • Independently seek opportunities to streamline and improve
  • Train employees in document control processes

Essential Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience as a Document Controller
  • Proven technical document and data management knowledge;
  • Experience with additional technical documentation software tools such as Adobe SharePoint
  • Extensive 'hands on' experience of the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite tools.
  • Experience writing technical documentation; advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing/maintaining high quality documentation
