Coordinate, control, and organize all construction work at assigned areas to ensure that all projects are implemented properly, according to schedule, completed within budget and targeted time frame, in compliance with high quality standards and company safety policies, and according to customer and management needs.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Plan, organize and control all aspects of project construction (i.e., manpower, scheduling, budget, materials, and equipment) at assigned areas starting from conceptualization to operations in line with project design and budget, in order to ensure that all work are performed according to customer needs and in compliance with company safety and environmental policies.

2. Review daily safety inspection reports and recommend mitigating actions in order to maintain and improve safety performance of all employees during work in compliance with PTFI safety policies and in line with safety target determined by PTFI Management.

3. Review and control all project budgets for assigned area provided by management in order to ensure that the project is within budget and its expense is used efficiently and according to determined target.

4. Coordinate, monitor, and control any unplanned construction-related projects in assigned area in order to ensure timely and safe construction processes in accordance to company and safety policies.

5. Review and field cross-check Quantity Unit Rate Report (QURR) provided by Cost Control of all projects in assigned area in order to ensure that all work are performed properly and according to planned schedule.

6. Develop employee skills by providing training schedules for subordinates in order to enhance employee performance in the field.

7. Review, guide, and approve monthly target KPI (Key Performance Indicator) for each division in order to measure employee performance and determine whether targeted KPI has been reached.

8. Review, control, and approve any on-site material requisition including DC (direct charge) materials for all projects at the assigned areas in order to ensure that all materials needed for a project are according to construction schedule.

9. Coordinate with involved departments regarding schedule of work needed to be performed for all construction projects in order to ensure an accurate and timely schedule.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least ten (10) years of working experience in the Engineering and Construction field including two (2) years of experience as an Area Superintendent.
  • Advanced skills and knowledge in Project Management and big construction projects.
  • Good communication, analytical and interpersonal skill.
  • Ability to motivate counterparts and subordinates actively.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written) and willing to learn Bahasa.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management course certification.
