Position summary

Downer Group's Utilities Overhead team is seeking an Apprentice Lineworker for overhead infrastructure installation and maintenance work on behalf of our clients reporting into our Portland and Hamiltion , VIC office. With Downer's Zero Harm culture at the forefront, this role will see you provide a high level of future trade competency to safely and effectively construct and maintain overhead assets on the electricity distribution network. ABOUT YOU

• A keen interest in the power industry and in electrical systems.
• Be able to work in a caring, dynamic and robust work environment.
• Able to work as part of a team with a strong work ethos and can-do attitude.
• Positive disposition and strong focus on safety.
• Installation and maintenance work in accordance with appropriate standards and work practices.
• Identifying and implementing risk control measures to provide a safe working environment.
• Construction industry White card is a nice to have.
• Licenced for High Risk Work in the use of EWP's an advantage.
• Valid Manual drivers licence preferred.
