About our Client:
Our client is a leading global mining group that focuses on finding, mining and processing the Earth's mineral resources.
About the Role:
Our valued client is seeking an experience Fixed Plant Planner for a FIFO role. This position would suit an experienced Planner with fixed plant experience, extensive SAP, shut planning and scheduling experience with Microsoft Projects.
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Action, prioritise and plan maintenance repairs via SAP notifications.
  • Enhance planning processes to improve service quality, data accuracy and workplace safety.
  • Integrate safety and environmental related components in your planning efforts.
  • Consult with key departments in regard to priorities in relation to criticality of equipment, ensuing that work packages accurately reflect the work to be executed.
  • Clearly identify task conditions, constraints, hazard controls, permits, labor, equipment materials, specalised tools, services, test and handover procedures, durations, sequencing, and timing.
  • Address any associated planning issues such as operational requirements, parts availability, equipment deficiencies, inadequate work procedures, and data accuracy.
Skills and Experience:
  • A Mechanical trade qualification is preferred
  • Significant experience as a maintenance planner, preferably large scale fixed plant processing environment
  • Work management process experience, advanced Microsoft Project and Excel skills will be advantageous.
  • Sound knowledge and experience with SAP planning and scheduling
  • Highly developed communication, Organisational and time management skills
