About the role

We are looking for Experienced Dewatering Operator to assist in the maintenance and development of the dewatering infrastructure to achieve advanced dewatering across Yandicoogina.

About the role

Working an 8 days on, 6 off roster and reporting to the Dewatering Supervisor, you will be:
  • Operating all dewatering equipment safely and competently
  • Daily operational checks and data collection and entry ( Sap experience preferred)
  • Installing, monitoring and maintaining dewatering equipment
  • Constructing poly pipelines
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement in the equipment or work procedures
  • Fostering a culture of zero harm and continuous improvement

What you'll bring
  • HR Western Australian driver's license preferred.
  • Current Australian C class license.
  • 2 years + Dewatering experience
  • Experience in repair and maintenance of bore dewatering lines, valves and equipment.
  • Ability to problem solve and adapt to a changing work fronts to meet the mine plan.
  • Poly welding experience and ticket
  • Experience operating dewatering infrastructure and hand tools
  • Basic mechanical skills and good initiative.
  • Ability to work as part of a small proactive team
  • Desire to deliver work to a high standard
  • Dogging (DG) and Crane Ticket (CV)
  • Submersible and sump pump experience (Installation and removal)
  • IT Loader, 30t Excavator and forklift ticket preferred
  • Ability to work safely and cooperatively in a team, demonstrating flexibility to business requirements
