About the role

We are looking for a Reliability Assurance Technician to provide condition monitoring expertise to the maintenance team at Dampier, including but not limited to; vibration analysis, ultrasonic testing, non-destructive testing, thermography and oil sampling analysis.

Reporting to the Execution Reliability Supervisor and working in a diverse team you will be:
  • Collecting and analysing data from fixed plant equipment
  • Carrying out inspections on fixed plant equipment; presenting and reporting findings
  • Installing and maintaining data collection equipment
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement to drive reliability best practice
  • Mentoring and training of others to recognised standards
  • Driving and promoting a strong safety culture and zero harm approach

What you'll bring
  • Certificate II in Vibration Analysis
  • Manual C Class Driver's Licence
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar Reliability Assurance Technician role
  • Strong maintenance background in fixed plant mining environment or similar industry
  • Experience in vibration data collection, analysis and reporting using MHM & CSi 2140 systems
  • Relevant mechanical or electrical trade/engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience (desirable)
  • Experience in screen resonance testing (desirable)
  • Experience in non-destructive testing, thermography, ultra-sonics and oil analysis (desirable)
  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team

Where you'll be working

Our port facilities consist of four shipping terminals located on the Pilbara coast at Dampier and Cape Lambert which form an essential part of our logistics process. Each terminal has facilities for train unloading, iron ore stockpiling, product blending and ship loading.
