An innovative and ambitious operator is currently looking to further add to their mining team by hiring a Mine Planning Superintendent to their team. As one of the more senior individuals of the planning team in this operation you will be responsible for leading certain aspects of the mining team, supporting the technical department and mentoring of the up-an-coming, but hungry-to-learn juniors.

 

The company would ideally like Mine Planning Superintendent that is able to show;

 

  • Extensive background as a Mining Engineer (Degree Qualified)
  • At least 10 years' experience (as much as 7 years preferably)
  • Majority of these years in a gold or a metalliferous operation.
  • Underground speciality
  • Managerial experience
  • French would be a bonus - English fluency needed
  • Experience working in both a planning and production role will be ideal (will take applicants with just production experience).
  • Skills with planning software will be highly regarded (if without - on-site training will be available as required.)
