- High-Grade Nickel sulphide explorer/developer
- Lead the company's exploration activities as 2IC
- Great roster - 1-week site based, 1-week office-based, 1 week off
- Established company with highly experienced management team
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Evaluating exploration datasets to generate, rank and test new existing targets.
- Provide technical input into resource estimation models, including detailed geological modelling.
- Mapping and development and supervision of all exploration programs and activities including Geochemical, Geophysics and drilling.
- Landowners and community liaison.
- Supervision, logging and sampling of RAB/ AC/ RC and Diamond Drilling programs.
- Establishment and rehabilitation of drill sites, including supervision of earthworks and pegging holes.
- Managing and maintaining field equipment.
- Bachelor of Science in Geology preferably with honours or higher.
- At least 5 - 10 years' experience with demonstrated leadership roles.
- Significant knowledge and experience within nickel sulphide systems, specifically a demonstrated background with intrusive nickel systems.
- A strong drive to deliver exploration success and take ownership for the execution of the company's exploration strategies.
- Proficiency using Micromine and computer software programs for GIS and geological modelling.
- Well-developed communication abilities.
Reporting directly to the Exploration Manager, you will have the opportunity to work within a high calibre management team, with a proven track record delivering discovery and mine development success. As a key member of the organisation, you will play a significant role in influencing and executing the company's exploration activities to achieve the goal to successfully go into nickel production in 2022. With multiple projects, spanning both intrusive and extrusive mineralisation styles, underground and open-pit mining scenarios, this truly offers the chance to progress your career and knowledge. The role is offered on a 1-week site-based, 1-week office-based, and 1 week off ratio.
