Expressions of Interest - Ore Processing Facility

Fixed Plant Trades

Work Location: Various site across the Pilbara

Roster: 7D:7N:7R FIFO from Perth, Hedland, Broome, Karratha

Fortescue is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced trades people in the following disciplines with relevant experience within OPF environment:
  • Mechanical Fitters
  • Electricians
  • Lubrication technician
  • Fabricators
  • Belt Technicians

You will be required to carry out the safe execution of scheduled maintenance and repair the operations fixed plant assets. These positions will heavily focus on continuous improvement, standardization of practices, procedures, and work methods across site, while utilising previous experience in line with industry standards.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Experienced carrying out Maintenance to Ore processing facilities
  • Carry out quality inspections, repairs, and maintenance of fixed plant equipment
  • Diagnostics & fault finding
  • Workshop and pit duties as required
  • Work in conjunction with all maintenance teams to achieve 100% schedule compliance.
  • Ensure FMG and site operations procedures and policies are followed.

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Australian recognised trade certificate in the relevant field
  • Previous experience working in the mining industry
  • Fixed plant experience is essential
  • High regard for safety
