Our client is one of the leaders in the rail industry and is connecting miners, primary producers, and industries with international and domestic markets. The client provides their customers with integrated freight and logistics solutions across an extensive national rail and road network throughout Australia.
About the Role
WorkPac are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Boilermaker to commence at a workshop in Sarina. You will be working a 8/6 roster in an ongoing position.
Duties & Responsibilities

• Work in a rail industry workshop environment
  
• Assure safe working practices
  
• A "hands on" attitude
  
• Welding and fabrication
  
• The ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Also work well with others in a team environment.
  
• Be able to solve problems on the go
  

Skills and Experience:

• Boilermaker Trade Certificate
  
• Heavy welding experience
  
• Ability to pass weld test
  
• Good eye for details
  
• Ability to work unsupervised
  
• Experience working on rail equipment
  
• Current Driver's Licence and Right to work within Australia
