Supervisor - Electrical

Location: East Boulder Mine McLeod, MT

POSITION SUMMARY: As the Underground Stationary / Electrical Supervisor, this position oversees all stationary equipment activities, electrical and communications for the mine with a direct report to the Electrical Superintendent. The Stationary / Electrical Maintenance Supervisor's primary task is to make certain all designated work is carried out in an effective and safe manner.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 3-5 years working in a heavy industrial / mining environment with emphasis in electrical and maintenance areas.
• Leadership qualities including character, teamwork, communication, business sense, and vision.
• Proven safety record understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Experience in process plant operations and maintenance.
• Experience with High, Medium and Low voltage Distribution and Installation.
• Working knowledge of Federal and State electric codes and laws
• Scheduling and planning experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• 1-2 years of underground supervisory experience in the field of maintenance
• Computer skills Microsoft Office and JD Edwards
• Good communication skills verbal and written / fair and consistent
• Understanding of inter-related groups and areas
• Ability to read schematics
