International Operations Manager - Underground Mining

CSG have partnered exclusively with a global sector leader in underground Mining to support their search for an International Operations manager based in Perth to lead multiple underground mining projects across 3 continents. The role will be a key part of the senior leadership team and will be instrumental to the future international growth and development of the business. We are happy to consider people based in either Perth currently or would be interested in relocating to Perth from internally within Aus or internationally.

The position will take overall responsibility for management of a variety of complex underground mining projects and will be critical to safe operations, profitable outcomes and the application of industry leading underground production and development methodologies. This position also takes a lead in tendering for new opportunities to support the businesses drive to expand in multiple continents. The role would require international travel when necessary to visit and support projects in various locations.

To fill this this International Operations manager role we are looking for an exceptionally experienced and able senior manager with extensive underground mining experience, particularly in managing and leading large multi-disciplinary teams for complex development and production projects. If that experience has been gained either with mine owners or with underground contracting companies and you have a great track record in safety, project delivery and team management (and particularly the identification and promotion of internal talent) within the underground hard rock mining sector we would love to hear from you.
