Who we're looking for...

We are looking for a surveyor to provide support to the Mine Operations team. Reporting to the Chief Surveyor you will be a key communicator between the Technical Services and Mine Operations teams. Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Prepare and maintain daily sketches, maps, and reports
  • Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted in the field
  • Field redesign as necessary
  • Maintain daily markup of all contacts and blast Patterns in the pits
  • Design & markup of special projects (Roads, Pipelines etc)

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong oral and written communication skills.

Additionally, you will have:
  • A Grade 12 Diploma
  • Post-Secondary education in Survey related fields is preferred
  • Experience within Mining Operations is required
  • Working knowledge of Minesite 3D is required
  • Working knowledge of MineStar, AutoCAD 3D, and ArcGIS is considered an asset
  • A Valid class 5 driver's license is required
