Cape Kids Childcare are seeking a Book Keeper / Administrator to join their team on a permanent part-time basis. The centre is uniquely owned and operated by a global mining company. This service provides a quality educational experience to young children to which encourages expression of their own ideas through play and learning.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking for work within school-based hours. We are seeking a strong Administrator with Accounts Receivable experience, who is ready for their next career challenge. Reporting to the Director Cape Kids in a collaborative community, you will be:

Daily activities will see you working across both Accounts Receivable and Administrative fields including:
- End of Month reporting, processing and reconciliation
- Accounts Receivable tasks
- Liaising with families
- Management of direct debits
- Management of childcare subsidies and government funding reporting
- Profile management within the Centre's childcare software (Xplor)
- General administration including data entry, onboarding enrolments and waitlist management
What you will bring
A baseline understanding of accounting perspectives, balancing and financial reporting will see you excel in this role. Furthermore:
- A commitment to high quality outcomes for children
- Current Working with Children Card (Blue Card)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Written and verbal)
- Experience with Childcare Management Software (Preferred, training available)

Weipa - Rio Tinto Weipa is located 900km north-west of Cairns on the Gulf of Carpentaria and has been operating for over 50 years.
