PROJECT MANAGER - UK

Are you a project manager with a minimum of 10 years' experience in the mining industry?

Do you have both operational and consulting experience with either base metals or, battery metals and industrial minerals?

Have you managed teams and multiple projects?

An opportunity has arisen for a Project / General Manager to join a global mining consultancy who have extensive international experience in the fields of geology, mining engineering, metallurgy, processing, social and environmental management, market analysis and mineral economics.

This senior opportunity will be responsible for the management of a team of qualified professionals delivering services across multiple global projects, this would be on multiple disciplines to include process engineering, mining engineering, project engineering and geology.

As Project Manager your duties will include the following:
  • Managing multiple projects across different disciplines.
  • Understanding EPCM, procurement and project management.
  • Overseeing and coordinating a team to deliver projects to the client.
  • Participating in decision-making to face problems and improvements.
  • Designing and conducting plans and technical training programs for personnel.

Essential requirements are:
  • Technical degree within process engineering, mining engineering, project engineering or geology.
  • 10+ years of international experience within the mining industry.
  • Experience within mining operations and mining consultancies.
  • Strong experience in team and project management.
  • Base metals and/ or battery metals and industrial minerals.
