Reporting to the Senior Engineer Maintenance, the Maintenance Planner, Asset Rebuild is responsible for planning and scheduling activities associated with Teck’s Asset Rebuild Program. You will develop and implement detailed asset rebuild plans and project schedules to achieve sustainable long-term program objectives.

Responsibilities :
  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Support the development of asset rebuild plans and schedules to improve asset reliability and reduce cost
  • Identify, understand, and quantify process risks that may impact performance to safety, cost, production, and quality
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure integration and improve value
  • Coordinate the development and sharing of ‘Leading Practice’ templates for work planning, scheduling, and execution
  • Ensure accurate master data in the various maintenance systems and databases as it relates to asset rebuilds.
  • Track and report reliability Key Performance Indicators and manage the overall asset rebuild process
  • Deliver asset rebuild projects with key success factors aligned to the project business case, including health and safety, environmental compliance, schedule, cost, and quality


Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a specialization in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Five years demonstrated experience as a maintenance specialist in a mobile or processing environment
  • Experience in both industrial operations and project execution
  • Understanding of Condition Monitoring techniques, Reliability Centered Maintenance, Failure Modes/Effects Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis
