About the Role
WorkPac are currently seeking a experienced Reliability Engineer for Rio Tintoâs Asset Management & Engineering Services team at Brockman 2, focusing on asset reliability and integrity for the Heavy Mobile and Ancillary equipment.
Option to transition directly with Rio Tinto after six months will be offered to the right candidate after six months.
Reporting to the Asset Management and Engineering Services Superintendent, you will:
Lead and conduct high level root cause analysis (RCA) for asset failures using Asset Performance Management software.
Analysing Equipment performance data to successfully identify and implement reliability improvement initiatives
Recommend and implement tactics designed to support high levels of asset safety, reliability and integrity
Provide technical engineering support to site maintenance departments
Execute both technical based projects derived to improve the performance of our fleet.
Monitor and analyse the performance of our assets and analyse primary/secondary maintenance tasks to improve asset reliability and cost
Actively create Zero Based Budgets for Mobile Equipment
About you
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related discipline
The ability to work collaboratively across a diverse range of stakeholders and operational teams
Experience leading continuous improvement activities
Experience in SAP, Momentum and APM will be advantageous.
Practical experience and an understanding of reliability concepts â FMECA, RCM, etc.
A demonstrated commitment to safety
A current and valid manual âC Classâ driver's license
