WorkPac currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced qualified Open Cut Examiner for an immediate start on an on-going contract for our client's mine located in the Gunnedah Basin.
What you will be doing
- Assist in daily production plans and corresponding job safety analysis or risk assessments
- Adequately escalate any safety related issues as required
- Ensure safety and health documentation at site is kept accurate and current
- Communicate regularly with the Superintendent in regard to safety & production targets
- Have an understanding of Quality, Materials, Stockpile and Environmental Management Plans
- Ability to manage and lead a successful team
- Open Cut Examiners Qualification
- NSW Order 43 Coal Board Medical
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Drivers Licence
- Police Clearance (within last 6 months)
- Experience in working in open cut mining
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience in managing & leading a team
