Hatch is currently seeking a Junior Engineer for our Thermal Power Business Unit, located in our Tampa, Florida office. If you have strong communication skills, are highly motivated, have a positive attitude and understand innovation, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • In Thermal Power, we offer a dynamic engineering and consulting work environment with limitless career growth and exposure to a variety of assignments and all aspects of our business:
  • Engineering Design. Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment throughout all phases of the engineering lifecycle, from conceptual study to detailed engineering. Solve challenging engineering problems and communicate creative solutions to clients.
  • Client Engagement. Participate in client meetings, foster long-term customer relationship and business development activities including proposal development, market research and pitching clients.
  • Technology Development. Research and complete techno-economic assessments of the latest novel technologies in Power.


Qualifications:

  • Graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an accredited University
  • Strong academic and extracurricular record
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a results-oriented attitude and the ability to work under pressure
  • Thirst for learning and challenge
  • Interest in Energy and Power Systems
