Position Description:

Turquoise Ridge is looking for a Hoist Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• To inspect hoists and equipment to diagnose malfunction
• Maintain hoists and equipment in accordance with maintenance schedules
• Diagnose and repair hoist
• Clean and maintain hoists, vehicles, equipment, tools and the general shop area
• Maintain all required records
• Participate in annual inspections with vendor
• This will include skips, dump chutes, ore bins, apron feeders, conveyors, screws, and bucket elevators

Qualifications

• Excellent safety and attendance record required
• Ability to operate Batch Plants and Shotcrete Plants
• Water management: ability to rebuilt diaphragm air pumos, maintain and repair piping and sumps, maintain dewatering station required
• Ability to identify parts needed for repairs by make, model, size, type, etc.
• Basic knowledge of trouble shooting and repairing plants
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics and ability to apply these skills to troubleshoot and repair systems
• Ability to read and use precision measuring tools, torque wrenches, and hand tools
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this position
