Operations near and far

We're proud to be the largest gold producer listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. From our Head Office in Melbourne, we work closely with our operations both local and global to safely operate and grow.

Based on St Kilda Road, our Melbourne Head Office is easily accessible by public transport or car, with discounted parking available, and located across the road from Albert Park Lake. Experience a lunch break around the lake or have access to our on-site gym facilities, with local eateries only a short walk from the office.

Who we're looking for

As our new Senior Business Analyst - Valuations & Analysis, you will provide quality and timely valuation and analytical support across a range of activities to support Newcrest's operating assets and growth strategy.

Key deliverables of the role will include (but not be limited to);
  • Supporting the delivery of major projects and studies through financial modelling and analysis
  • Challenging assumptions and influencing business value discussions, ensuring financial modelling assumptions are clearly communicated to key stakeholders
  • Delivering analytical support and financial modelling for the Life of Province Plan (LoPP) process.
  • Supporting the Investment Management Process and governance activities

Highly developed analytical skills and ability to influence key stakeholders are central to your success. Our ideal candidate will have a degree qualification in a technical or commercial discipline. Mining experience and an understanding of the mining value chain is highly advantageous.

You will also have:
  • Commercial acumen with exposure to discounted cash flow analysis
  • The ability to adapt to change and work in a dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders in a multi-disciplinary environment
