PDG helps clients reach their business goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure world-class project delivery through the skills of our people, methodologies, governance, and systems. Our engineering and project management and construction disciplines ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable delivery of projects globally across the metals and mining, infrastructure, and energy sectors.

As the successful candidate, you will:
- Develop a thorough understanding of the project requirements as they relate to scope, cost and schedule
- Develop the mechanical work plan for inclusion in to the project specific execution plan
- Manage and reviewthe Engineering Work Packages (EWP) associated with all deliverables and time-based functions to ensure that budgets and schedules are being met, and taking corrective action if necessary
- Review and approvemechanical technical deliverables (specifications, datasheets, drawings, etc.)
- Assist in the preparation and development of project specific procedures
- Establish design tools, software, relevant codes and standards to be used on the project
You will bring to the role;
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering and registration as a Professional Engineer
- Extensive design and Project engineering experience leading teams in mining, metals, minerals processing or heavy industry environment
- Demonstrated leadership and Client liaison skills
- Strong deliverable focus and ability to plan the work
- Excellent understanding and belief in safety principles, standards and legislation
- Well-developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
