POSITION OVERVIEW
Under the supervision of the Technical Services Manager, the General Supervisor of Projects & Development will manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary studies related to the economic feasibility for a Silver Bell Mine expansion.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Review, investigate, and develop appropriate recommendations regarding assigned engineering projects.
- Manage projects and serve as subject matter expert (SME) on large/complex site planning/construction, expansion, or modifications.
- Provide guidance and counsel to the site management team on applicable processes, practices, and existing/proposed local, state, and federal regulations.
- Contribute to site strategic planning and budgeting efforts for designated engineering areas.
- Contributes to budget preparation by supplying costs and recommendations. Manages appropriate project budgets for consulting services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Excellent computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Mine Planning Software (not required but beneficial).
- Excellent communications skills, oral, written and computer presentations.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor Science (BS) in Mining, Metallurgical, or other appropriate Engineering discipline or related discipline.
- At least 7-10 years of professional experience.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary projects in a heavy industrial environment, including scope development, cost estimating, scheduling, construction oversight, managing construction contractors, cost and quality controls, implementation, and commissioning.
- Experience with design or operation of large-scale mill and tailings facilities.
- Experience with new mine development preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record.
- Must be able to walk over rough terrain, sit, climb ladders and stairs, squat, kneel for extended periods of time. Work environment is outdoors and indoors, working at extreme temperatures, weather conditions and may be exposed to chemicals and explosives.
