Job Description:

LDI mine is looking for a motivated individual to join our Technical Services Team. Reporting to the Senior Mine Engineer, you will work 14 days on / 14 days off schedule at the Lac des Iles Mine site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing resources using bulk mining methods (Longhole, Sub-level Shrinkage, Sub-Level Caving, Super Shrinkage). Design and provide advice on drill and blast plans. Utilize Amine and Deswik for production planning purposes. Design cable bolting plans based off geotechnical specifications. Knowledge of explosives and blasting practices, gas check surveys and applying control standards in the working area. Miscellaneous duties reasonable and beneficial as the department requires

Qualifications:

The ideal applicant will possess relevant experience or education such as Diploma in Mine Technician/Technology or equivalent. 3-5 years of relevant underground production planning. Proficient with technical computer programs, technical writing, and experience in all office based software, and a strong ability to conduct data analysis. Pay a high attention to detail, effective organizational skills, ability to prioritize and attentive to time management
