Whilst this role is based in Perth, you will still enjoy time in the field and remain connected to the operations as some site travel will be required, however this can be arranged as a day trip to maintain your balance!

Reporting to the Superintendent Hydrogeology, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading, supporting and mentoring a small team of Hydrogeologists
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Developing dewatering and water management strategies to meet the mine plan and study requirements - right through to mine closure
  • Supporting environmental approval processes for both brownfields extensions and greenfields developments
  • Providing technical, safety and project management oversight of hydrogeological field programs
  • Reviewing and validating internal and regulatory groundwater reporting
  • Developing scopes of work to design and define dewatering, reinjection, depressurisation and monitoring networks

What you will bring
  • A commitment to the health and safety of yourself, your team and the environment
  • Tertiary Geology or Geoscience qualification (post-grad qualifications in hydrogeology advantageous)
  • The ability to engage effectively and collaboratively with a diverse range of internal and external partners
  • Significant demonstrated experience in hydrogeology/ hydrology in industry, consulting or regulators
