About the role

We have exciting opportunities for Project and/or Contract Managers across the South Island. We have a diverse range of contracts within our business where you will be both challenged and rewarded for making your mark as you drive the operational delivery of our civil infrastructure works. Day to day you will be:

• Ensuring our team has an unwavering focus on zero harm
• Enhancing our strong relationships with our clients and delivering as promised, every time
• Leading a team of supervisors, growing the capability of the team by providing clear and positive leadership
• Financial and Commercial management
• Ensuring that we deliver projects on time, on budget and aligned with our zero harm principles

About you

You will have proven successful project or contract management experience ideally within civil construction, in addition to:

• 3+ years leadership experience, where you have led teams that have successfully delivered on projects
• Ability to create and deliver a strong customer focus culture, and a collaborative approach to develop client relationships
• Understanding of strategic asset management and local authority activities
• Proven track record in developing a culture that supports Health and Safety management
• Tertiary qualification, preferably in Civil Engineering advantageous, however other disciplines and overall experience within the industry would be considered
