Downer's Road Services business unit is one of the largest non-government owned road services businesses in Australia. We operate from a network of over 50 depots and maintain more than 33,000 km of road. Our Business is involved in many exciting ventures within the civil road industry throughout the country.

We have an opportunity for an Inclusion Business Partner to coordinate and manage inclusion and diversity initiatives on a national scale. You will work within a collaborative and driven national team of professionals and identify, implement and track sustainable inclusion and diversity activities. This is an autonomous position that reports into the Talent and Inclusion Manager and the General Manager of People & Culture.

About you:

Ideally, you will hold an Undergraduate degree in a related discipline (HR, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or similar).

Central to this role;
  • 5+ years within a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience in working to achieve strategic and tactical outcomes under a defined plan of work
  • Demonstrated experience using various communication channels
  • Ability to prepare communications plans working with key stakeholder groups
  • Industry experience in civil construction, would be desirable but not essential
  • Experience in implementing and applying continuous improvement principals against processes supporting a quality system
  • Project management skills.
