Description: Redpath is currently seeking Underground Hard Rock Mining Mechanic

Location: Yerington, Nevada

Rotation: Various Depending on Project location

Shift Length: 11 - 12 hours

Compensation: Redpath offers a comprehensive wage and benefit package

Conditions of Employment: Mandatory drug test required. Passage of Criminal background check and medical physical.

Must have legal paperwork to work in the U.S.

Basic Requirements:

Selected candidates will commit to work in accordance with MSHA laws, regulations, procedures and policies. Workers have a duty to maintain a safe workplace and to correct any unsafe actions. Employees must also commit to strict principles of integrity, ethics, and Redpath policies.

Job Summary

Successful applicants will perform maintenance and repairs to all mining equipment to support underground construction and development. The responsibilities include:

• Must have heavy equipment experience.
  
• Able to trouble shoot and repair all aspects of underground mine equipment from drive trains, to engines, hydraulic systems and electrical systems.
  
• Must be able to read Schematics and diagnose trouble symptoms.
  
• Must have own tools.
  

Requirements and qualifications

• Acceptable candidates must be physically capable of walking on uneven surfaces, up steep grades, and over long distances.
