About the Role:
WorkPac are seeking a Cost Controller to join our client in their Perth Office on a Monday to Friday roster. Reporting to the Superintendent Fleet Strategy and Delivery this a great opportunity to assist with cost control activities providing services to mine sites, rail and ports.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monthly and Annual Budgeting/Forecasting and reporting
  • Updating and maintaining the budgeting software system
  • Expansion Project Cost Control management and reporting
  • Maintaining and updating the workflow spreadsheet
  • Raising PRs, Creating folders, EDS (Equipment data sheets) for a high volume of equipment each year
  • Using, SAP excel to monitor projects to ensure spend is within approval limits
  • Goods Receipting invoices
  • Onboarding and managing vendor information with Procurement and SAP Systems
  • Getting in touch with Vendors if required to sort through issues regarding Pos, invoices etc
  • Back Charging each month and keeping a track of project management balance
  • Working in with delivery teams coordinating and managing end of month invoicing
  • Capitalisations
  • Prepare and send out Delivery schedule each month
  • Project financial control to ensure projects stay within budget

Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience with a Cost Controller position with a commercial background
  • Customer service oriented to deal with a number of stake holders and work with various team members
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • High Attention to Detail
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
  • Current Australian 'C' class driver licence
  • Must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
