Downer Mining has been providing total mine services to the Millmerran Power Station since 2003 with the current contract through to August 2024. Located near the towns of Millmerran and Pittsworth, Downer is responsible for operating and managing the Commodore Mine and associated activities. This is a residential site and therefore no accommodation is provided.

We are currently seeking a Trainee Storesperson to join the team on a fixed term basis for 2 years. The successful applicant with undergo a 2 year training schedule, working with experienced Storespersons, and be signed off in a Certificate 3 in Supply Chain Operations.

ABOUT YOU:

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• A genuine desire to build a career as a storesperson in a mining environment
• Previous experience in a workshop environment
• Intermediate computer skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Experience in managing and maintaining data
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent communication skills
• Forklift ticket will be highly regarded but not essential
