We have an immediate requirement for a Technical Superintendent for a new Copper mining operation in Western Australia. This is an exciting and challenging project spearheaded by an experienced entrepreneurial management team, with decades of successful mine start up experience between them.

The project has several phases to be completed over the next 24 months which covers several greenfield and brownfield sites. The phases will include studies, a major construction phase, as well as development and mining at several sites.

Although the company and project has been oversubscribed, and is well-funded, substantial revenue will also be generated during the more complex phases of the project, (such as during its construction and development phase) by several straightforward open pit operations. The orebody is well understood and has an extremely long LOM (30+ years). There is a lot of upside to this opportunity.

The Role
The role would suit candidates who have open pit experience, have exposure to underground operations or remnant workings and voids. This role will be fairly hands on at the beginning, but you will get the opportunity to build and manage your own team after the initial study phase. Remuneration and conditions are competitive.
