Your role

What you will do

• Demonstrates appropriate positive behaviors toward assignments.

• Clean Offices, Mop, Vacuum Carpeted Areas, Empty All Waste baskets and garbage cans, Replenish toilet tissue, soap, etc. as needed, Clean and Disinfect all washrooms (toilets, sinks, floor, etc.), Clean kitchen sinks and counters, Spot clean walls, carpets etc. as needed, Complete supply requests as needed.
• Follow Newmont site Lock-Out Tag-Out policies and procedures.
• Vacuum floor mats.
• Wipe down and sanitize touch surfaces in and around cab structure, i.e. steering wheel, door handles, shifter handles, brake handles, etc.
• Clean cab glass and mirrors for visibility.
• Steam clean and shampoo upholstery.
• Wipe down all interior cab surfaces.
• Works as a team member.
• Works effectively with other crews.
• Works effectively with other departments.
• Learning safe and environmentally sound work practices.
• Demonstrates the ability to follow directions.

Training & Experience

Recent experience on methods of using janitorial hand tools and equipment such as brooms, mops, pails, wringers, sponges, dusters, industrial and household vacuum cleaners and electric power cleaning, scrubbing, polishing and buffing machines. Ability to work under minimal supervision.

Working Conditions and Location

You will be based in Cripple Creek and Victor.

This position has multiple levels (which may range from level 1 up to level 5).The hourly rate offered for this overtime-eligible role will depend on the level, and the range of the hourly rate is $ 19.39 - $25.15 . The hourly rate is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The specific level and hourly rate that is offered to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The hourly rate offer will not be based on a candidate's wage rate history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about wage rate history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
