Supervisor - Warehouse

LOCATION: East Boulder Mine

POSITION SUMMARY : Responsibilities include but are not limited to Supervision of the East Boulder Mine warehouse facility and all related tasks. This position is responsible for the supervising, planning, implementation, and maintenance of warehouse/inventory control policies to ensure continuous improvement in warehousing efficiencies, and accuracy, in support of the initiatives and plans of the East Boulder operation, as well as, engaging and working closely with our supplier base.

JOB SKILLS:

• Strong knowledge of receiving, issuing, and material handling operations, methods, and practices.
• Experience in cycle counting, inventory management, and audit regulations.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse/inventory control software.

• Provide leadership within the warehouse department, including establishing broad and specific goals for the warehouse team to accomplish; instructing the warehouse to coordinate daily routine tasks; training warehouse employees; and daily workplace inspections.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• S. in a relevant discipline with a minimum of (2) years of relevant supervisory experience OR a high school diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of (5) years of relevant supervisory experience
• Leadership qualities including character, teamwork, communication, business sense, and vision
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Effective leadership, planning, and scheduling skills
• Computer competency in MS Office, Inventory Management Systems and Electronic Communication
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment e.g. purchasing, accounting, and operations.
• Strong focus on safety while completing all tasks
• Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• Understanding of Accounting Concepts and Practices
• Experience with inventory optimization software
• Working knowledge of Company Policies, Procedures, and Standards
• Understanding of the CBA
• Working Knowledge of JD Edwards
