Position summary
CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR

POSITION SUMMARY

Downer is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator for a deliver on a high profile NPI Project in mining sector. This is a Perth based role, fixed term contract starts ASAP till end of April 2022.

The Contracts Administrator is accountable for the delivery of the commercial, financial and contractual management aspects of the project. In the delivery of the role the Contracts Administrator must ensure that the Project Manager is promptly apprised of all matters in relation to the management of the project head contract agreements and all relevant supplier/ subcontract agreements.

ABOUT YOU

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in administrating contracts within an infrastructure or construction project environment.
• A tertiary qualification in contracts, commerce, legal or construction management
• Tendering process within the Construction Industry
• Management of subordinates in a similar role and environment
• Understanding of cost controls
• Contractual and Commercial Acumen
• Working knowledge of Construction Contracts Act procedure
• Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate work in a challenging environment and tight deadlines.
• Ability to assess information, prepare accurate reports and make precise recommendations.
• Highly effective written and oral communication skills.
• High attention to detail and time management skills.
