Job Description:
Working a four (4) day on three (3) day off rotation at the mine site, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising construction projects on site.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the planning process of projects including project execution plans
Attend constructability meetings
Attend formal risk assessments
Coordinate construction activities
Coordinate contractors
Responsible for construction progress and provide updates as appropriate
Record daily activities and progress
Coordinate construction activity with operations activity
Produce monthly updates
Assist in producing project budgets and monitor/update project budgets
Qualifications:
Key Qualifications:
PMP designation preferred
Formal project management training preferred
Engineering or technology degree required
Able to clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in writing, at all levels
Ability to read technical drawings
Attention to detail is critical
Proficiency with MS products: Word, Excel, Powerpoint and MS Teams/Zoom
Proficiency with MS Project or equivalent
Valid Ontario Drivers License
Understanding of mining processes and equipment considered an asset
