Job Description:
Under the general supervision of the Manager, Administrative & Executive Support, the Receptionist is responsible for ensuring that visitors and employees are greeted warmly and professionally – either in person or on the phone, ensuring visitor requirements are completed and for facilitating smooth and time efficient entry into the buildings.  This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, exercising judgment and initiative.

Responsibilities:
•    Greet visitors: Verify visitor identity for sign-in by examining photo ID; record visitor/sponsor name and sign-in date and time in Visitor Log, Issue visitor badge. Ensure first-time visitors view safety video. Contact sponsor to escort visitor, at the end of the visit collect visitor badge and note sign-out time Greet contractors. Verify identity for sign-in by examining photo ID; cross-reference contractor name to CSO Master List and issue contractor badge
•    Greet staff: Issue temporary access cards to staff as required
•    Answer and direct telephone calls
•    Book conference rooms in for meetings as requested and monitor audio/visual equipment 
•    Monitor pickup and return of bank documents by Timax as required, record pickup and return times and relevant information in Finance.
•    Liaise with Facilities and Property Management regarding building maintenances, (heating, air conditioning, washrooms, light fixtures, kitchens, plumbing and various repairs etc.) and follow up with a Facility Ticket.
•    Assist with clerical tasks as assigned by Management:  i.e.; Inputting ITSM tickets for access clearances; maintaining Access Logs (Acers, etc.)
•    Undertake special assignments as required or as assigned by Management.

Qualifications:
•    Minimum of 3 years or relevant experience 
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Switchboard knowledge preferred.
