Superintendent Rail Maintenance Planning

Work Location: Port Hedland

Roster: 4D3R Residential preferred

The successful applicant with be responsible for managing the ongoing reliability, development and growth of the FMG Maintenance Planning department to achieve Business Objectives.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Provide visible safety leadership by modelling positive safety behaviours
  • Achieve departmental target
  • Work closely with maintenance leaders providing analysis and advise of process improvement opportunities
  • Provide support and tools to ensure team delivery and continuous improvement
  • Management of SAP PM and MM Master Data including technical objects, Maintenance plans, items, task lists, BOM's and measuring points
  • Zero based budgeting
  • Master Data & Strategy development

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Robust understanding of maintenance planning principles
  • Strong people leadership capability, with previous leadership roles within rail or process maintenance environment
  • Attention to detail, with sound organisational, communication and presentation skills.
  • Possessing in depth practical experience in fixed plant equipment maintenance
  • Extensive experience developing, analysing and optimising maintenance strategies and master data
  • Advanced SAP PM and MM module exposure
  • Experienced maintenance planner and scheduler for weekly, shutdown and long-term planning
  • Proven analytical and defect elimination experience with a focus on continuous improvement
