About the Role
Exciting opportunities exist for experienced Shotfirers based at Rio Tinto's Yandicoogina Mine sites in the Pilbara.
Reporting to the Drill & Blast Superintendent, you will be associated with the safe and secure operation of all shot firing duties on site, including running shots, setting up blast zone clearances, the safe operation of mobile manufacturing units, responsible for ordering and correct storage, handling and transportation of explosives on site.
As a key member of a high performing team, you will play an integral role in implementing our client's production requirements.
Skills and Experience
  • 2+ year's experience as a Shotfirer in an open pit mining environment
  • WA issued Shotfirers Licence
  • WA issued Dangerous Goods Security Card
  • Manual C Class Australian issued Drivers Licence (minimum)
