Description
The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for performing crating, packaging, packing, cleaning, loading, picking, billing, yard and building maintenance tasks. This includes, but not limited to, receiving and inventory related tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
Education and Work Experience:
Required: High school diploma with relevant work experience
Required: 1-2 years' general work experience in shipping/receiving, inventory control, warehousing and/or procurement
Preferred: Three (3) years of related experience in shipping receiving, inventory control, warehousing, procurement
Knowledge Required:
• Ability to multi-task and identify priorities
• High computer proficiency skills
• Possess high level of communication and interpersonal skills
• Maintain positive vendor relationships
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for performing crating, packaging, packing, cleaning, loading, picking, billing, yard and building maintenance tasks. This includes, but not limited to, receiving and inventory related tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform receiving functions, and when required, shipping functions.
- Maintain up to date accurate filing of documents on incoming shipments
- Maintain inventory control of the warehouses and containers
- Inventory: identify and count parts, materials and equipment
- Operate company equipment as per valid certifications and training
- Maintain and daily checks of equipment
- Maintenance of the Pump House and MBR
- Staging crew with packing goods as required
- Read and follow the Quality Program and Manual for ISPM15 Certification under CWPCA requirements IPPC and be trained and certified
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the warehouse and yard
- Liaise with logistics
- Assist other workers in staging shop, internal and external clients and other areas as required
- Order supplies and create work orders as required
- Maintain confidentiality with respect to Redpath and client information
