Our client is seeking an experienced HR Assistant to join their team in beautiful British Columbia. Reporting to the HR Manager, this key role will provide support and administrative assistance including payroll and benefits. - Assist with new employee on-boarding, orientation and benefits.
- Ensure documentation is confidential, accurate and complete.
- Provide support for interviews, site visits and related reports.
- Coordinate camp occupancy and site transportation with appropriate departments.
- Act as a first point of contact for HR resources, including callers and visitors.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years as an HR Administrative or Assistant in a mining environment.
- Experience with payroll and benefits administration.
- Solid computer skills, especially MS Office.
- Experienced in operation of office equipment including, copiers and scanners.
- Knowledge of basic accounting and payroll.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to multi-task.
