Our client is seeking a Technical Services Manager to lead mine planning and business improvement initiatives. Reporting to the General Manager, this position is critical to the overall success of the mine and requires a solid leader with technical expertise. Key Responsibilities:

• Research and implement continuous improvement initiatives, promote a lean business mentality.
• Analyze relevant data to ensure accurate, viable site planning cycles.
• Developing rigorous business improvement plans including the Resource Development Strategy (Life of Province Plan).
• Create and maintain accurate budgets and related forecasting and reports.
• Develop and lead the Technical Services team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Mine Engineering degree, Professional Engineering designation would be an asset.
• Post graduate qualifications in Mineral Economics or Commercial/Finance areas desired.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with ore reserve estimation and cut-off grade theories.
• Extensive experience leading high-performance teams.
• Expertise with technical studies in large scale mining projects.
