Hatch LTK is currently seeking a highly motivated Environmental Health and Safety and Occupational Health and Safety Professionals to join our North American Infrastructure group in our Vehicle System Assurance team in Boston, MA.

The ideal candidates are motivated, results-driven professionals who are seeking growth. Knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the following areas are preferred: occupational health and safety, environmental health and safety, developing safety plans and programs, conducting field assessments, and writing reports. Being capable to work well with other employees or independently as well as strong oral and written communication skills when interacting with outside vendors and clients is essential for this position. Candidates should be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality.Domestic and international travel may be required.

As the successful candidate, you will:
  • Reviewing and developing occupational health and safety programs and plans
  • Reviewing and developing environmental health and safety programs and plans
  • Developing and/or delivering training surrounding occupational and environmental health and safety, accounting for federal, state and local regulations
  • Prepare Hazard Assessments, System Safety Assessments, and Root Cause Analyses
  • Conducting field assessments
  • Preparing technical documents/reports and presenting to clients, project teams, etc.
  • Continuous, effective communication and relationship building with clients in the development and implementation of projects
  • Developing and maintaining productive working relationships


You bring to the role:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in applicable health, safety, industrial hygiene, engineering or other technical discipline
  • 5- 15 years of experience working directly with a transportation agency and/or external clients
  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team


Any one or combination of the following licenses are a plus:
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
  • Certified Instructional Trainer (CIT) and/or OSHA-Authorized Trainer (General and Construction Industries)
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
  • Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
  • Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)
  • Safety Management Specialist (SMS)
