Job Description:

Ability to Operate the Primary Gyratory Crusher circuit.
Ability to Operate the secondary crusher cicuit, Pebble crushers circuit and grinding circuits (SAG and Ball mills).
Ability to Operate the dewatering circuit including all mixing of mill reagents and chemicals.
Ability to Operate the Concentrate load out for both Bulk and Semi Bulk.
Ability to Operate the IT or similar Loader
Familiarity with and the ability to learn and operate the float plant and Float Plant HMI.
Good Undertstanding of the flotation process and it importance to the operation is a Must.
The ability to work closely with the Mettalurgical team to optimise the recovery based on good solid data based decision making.
Knowledgeable about the Ministry of Labour and Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations, as they pertain to the operation of crushing and milling facilities.
The duties of the Mill Operator team members involve the safe management and operation of equipment and tools needed to perform all the duties of the position.
The Mill Operator 1 functions as a member of a team mostly with help from another Mill Operators when needed.
The Primary areas of responsibility are the floatation operation.

Qualifications:

Minimum of four (4) years experience in the operation of mineral processing and milling equipment with experince in floatation of precious metal ores.
Verbal and writen proficiency of the English language.
Good computer skills, excel, word, HMI etc..
A self starter who performs duties in a safe and productive manner.
