About the role

We are seeking a High Voltage Electrician to join the Cape Lambert Utilities team to actively promote safety awareness and safe work practices, while maintaining electrical equipment. The role will cover assets forming part of the Power Transmission network at Cape Lambert, Hydrocarbons Facilities and Wastewater handling Plants.

This role will report directly to the Supervisor and will be a FIFO or residential in Wickham - 8 day on, 6 day off roster. This role is an opportunity to further your career in a challenging environment.

The role will require you to

• To safely carry out inspections, scheduled maintenance and breakdown maintenance to Utilities Assets such as: Electrical transmission and distribution, Fuel Delivery and other hydrocarbon assets, Waste Water Treatment control and maintenance, Compressed air systems
• Ensuring that maintenance is of a high quality and re-work is not required
• Use SAP to raise notifications, complete time confirmations and enter reliability and maintenance activity information
• Understanding of RTIO safety systems and demonstrated strong health & safety performance

About you

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have the following:

• Western Australian "A" Grade Electrical Workers Licence
• Western Australian C class driver's license (HR is desirable)
• Very customer focussed with a collaborative approach
• Experience in high voltage network switching and operations and maintenance of high voltage transmission and distribution systems
• Experience in the maintenance of PLCs and Citect systems
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and SAP

Where you will be working

Our four independent shipping terminals at two locations, Cape Lambert and Dampier, are managed as a single port system. Each terminal has facilities for train unloading, product stockpiling and blending, and ship loading. Employees reside in Wickham which is located 1,572 km north of Perth and 13 km north of Roebourne in the Pilbara region of Western Australia with Karratha being the closest town. Wickham is a fascinating historic town boasting pristine sandy beaches and excellent fishing spots.
