Reporting to the Lead, Corporate Recruitment our Digital Recruitment Specialist Co-Op/Intern will support the full-cycle recruitment process for all positions within RACE / Teck Resources Ltd. and work on sophisticated Human Resources projects!

Responsibilities:

As a Digital Recruitment Specialist Co-Op/Intern you will…

• Facilitate the hiring processes involved in full-cycle recruitment for company positions
• Source candidates, review resumes, conduct phone screenings, and coordinate with hiring managers to shortlist candidates and schedule interviews
• Develop technical recruiting skills through our innovative technology stack
• Maintain accurate documentation, filing, and tracking of candidates using Lever (Candidate Relationship Management System), and SAP (Applicant Tracking System)
• Develop recruitment strategies and find opportunities to improve the candidate experience
• Cultivate positive relationships with hiring managers to effectively communicate role responsibilities, candidate profiles, and status of ongoing requisitions
• Coordinate and participate in internal and external hiring events and career fairs
• Take initiative on new and innovative recruitment projects such as employer branding development and company onboarding
• Apply a broad range of innovative cloud-based collaboration and recruitment tools to enhance teamwork, efficiency and productivity

Qualifications:

• Currently completing a post-secondary program in Human Resources or a University degree in a related field
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion in dealing with critical matters
• Meticulous with strong interpersonal skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships quickly
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and cloud/SaaS applications
