Position summary
Downer Pipetech NSW team is seeking to appoint a Receptionist and Office Administrator in a permanent, full-time position based out of Seven Hills, Sydney.

Reporting to the State Manager, this position primarily provides administration for the running and day to day operation of the NSW Seven Hills Office and provides administrative support to the delivery teams within Seven Hills. The role also supports Functional and Operational management teams in relation to carrying out daily office functions.
THE ROLE
Some of the responsibilities of the role are as follows:
  • Receiving and redirecting incoming telephone calls during business hours for NSW sites
  • Provide reception support during business hours to 4pm;
  • Preparing/raising Purchase Orders for signature and processing, including ordering of office supplies
  • Arrange IT maintenance or outages and the control of equipment
  • Monitor and manage property maintenance services (cleaning contract; alarm system, etc)
  • Provide back up support to Project Administrators with the following Management of the JDE System for Projects on adhoc basis
ABOUT YOU
  • Diploma level qualifications in Business Administration or equivalent demonstrated experience in large organisation
  • Demonstrated experience with office coordination, administration and plant management
  • Experience in office administration and Microsoft Software
  • Experience in Project cost control/review/analysis processes
  • Experience in JDE and or similar large ERP software
  • A positive and professional attitude in dealing with all customers
