The Role:
We currently have an opportunity with a South Australian family owned and operated business in the horticulture industry for a Mechanical tradesperson

The role offers an exciting career opportunity to not only work on maintenance of farming equipment, but to also work on an upcoming project of phasing out the existing processing plant and implementing a new, fully automated processing plant - an opportunity that doesn't come around too often!

Duties and Responsibilities:

This is a great opportunity for the right person to forge a successful career within the business, and to be considered for the role you'll need to possess the following skills and experience:
- Mechanical trade qualification
- Valid driver's licence
- experience with maintenance management systems
- demonstrable diagnostic, fault finding and decision making skills
- strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
- ability to follow systems and procedures
- welding competency
- experience in turning and milling
- experience in a food processing environment

You must have:

The following traits are highly regarded:
- experience in pneumatics, electrical and general maintenance
- experience with PLC / automated equipment
- VFFS, Kwik Lock bag closing packing machine experience
