Job Description
The Engineering team is seeking an ambitious student to join our team for the summer of 2022 as part of our Gold Rush summer internship program
Job Responsibilities
- Assist project managers in the preparation of schedules, budgets, regular reports
- Assist in the coordination and planning of engineering tasks
- Support senior engineers in review of engineering design and documents
- Assist in the preparation of reports of the company's greenhouse gas emissions (CDP)
- Conduct technical and financial analysis of renewable energy technologies
- Assist in evaluation of energy efficiency opportunities. This requires working with site, regional, corporate staff as well as external consultants.
- Under the guidance of senior staff, prepare PowerPoint presentations for Executive management
- Conduct analysis of energy markets (supply-demand-price-reliability)
Education and Experience
- 2nd or 3rd year student studying Mechanical Engineering
Skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Proven ability to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Team player with an ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task
- Language skills in Russian, French, Arabic, Spanish or Portuguese are assets, but not mandatory.
